Dogs On The Go Services

Individual Dog Walks:

The 15 minute dog walk is limited senior dogs only.  This visit is more of an opportunity to stretch their legs and relieve themselves outside, not on your floor or furniture.  After the 15 minute dog walk, you may want the dog to be given an appropriate chew toy or bone to occupy your dog after the walk.

The 30 minute dog walk has many benefits.  Not only does it help keep your dog in good health, it also relieves stress.  Thirty minute dog walks are great for any K9 that needs an outlet during the day to offset boredom, anxiety, etc…  This is great for people who work long hours, senior citizens who are not as mobile, or people who are just too plain busy to walk the dog.

The 60 minute dog walk and/ or rigorous play is geared towards young, highly active breeds.  This is not for pups or seniors, and may be recommended by your dog’s breeder, trainer, or veterinarian.  The objective of the 60 minute session will most likely be a combination of walking, running, and rigorous activities to burn off a dog’s energy in a healthy and safe manner. Sessions will be tailored to your dog’s needs and abilities.

Dogs On The Go dog walker will give fresh water and treats as appropriate during the visit.

Secondary to walking your dog, the dog walker will work with your trainer, behaviorist or veterinarian's recommendations.

Bike Rides:

For the super high energy dogs, when a walk isn't enough.  Bike riding with your dog is done in a safe manner using a Walkydog bike leash. Bike rides are done on a limited basis during cool weather or early mornings.  All dogs must be screened to  determine their ability and physical safety.  Call Barbara at 678-641-8905 to inquire.

Basic Grooming:

Grooming includes shampooing, drying, ear cleaning and brushing. This is great when you let Fefe out to do her business in the morning and she found something stinky to roll in.  You have to get to work, but don’t want to come home and wash the dog after a long day.  Give me a call and I will take care of it.  The grooming service is also great for senior citizens that may find it difficult to wash their dog or get to the groomer.

Pet Related Errands:

Did you run out of dog food?  Does your dog need to see the vet, but you can't take off of work, again?  Are you tryingt to leave town and haven't been able to pick up the dogs mediciation?  Not to worry, I will work with you to take care of your pet's needs.

Medications:

Does your pet need medications during the day, but you can’t be there?  Not to worry, we can help with that, too.
